Smallest species of dinosaur discovered in N America
A model of Fruitadens haagarorum, described as the smallest species of dinosaur ever discovered in North America, is seen next to a skull of a much larger Carnotaurus, at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County in Los Angeles Tuesday, Oct 20, 2009. The newly identified creature weighed less than two pounds (900 grams) and stood about 4 inches (10 centimeters) tall.
